OUR STORY

WE'RE YOUR NEIGHBOURHOOD INSTITUTION

Following the announcement of host cities for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, there were many opportunities and gaps in the market to exploit.

The idea of creating an entertainment venue in a relatively rural, yet cosmopolitan village of Phokeng in Rustenburg was particularly attractive.

PH Network Cafe was a response to this opportunity. There were many concept options, the South African restaurant landscape is littered with different types of cuisines some local but many inspired by European cultures.

In order to offer something different for international visitors to the World Cup, we had to choose a cuisine that is very common and popular locally so that the proposition can survive beyond the tournament.

In South Africa, the “braai” (barbecue) is very relevant and popular, almost in a similar way pizza is to Italy. PH Network Cafe is a proposition that draws from that common culture but has developed it into a unique customer experience.

We offer a somewhat informal, yet comfortable environment.

We are proud of our quality standards and service.

Our entertainment mix is rather “chilled” mainly R&B and soul. On Friday and Saturday nights, we go up-tempo and on Sundays, we mellow out with something jazzy.

Our patrons can chose their desired mixed grill and relax in our pub and gardens or patios. Our fully licensed bar offers a variety of premium brands, popular cocktails and some great shooters.

From time to time, we bring our vibe alive with some talented local artists to make sure you leave P.H with a memorable experience, from the taste of the special food and drinks, to the sound of the music that is another signature that we deliver.
